Stokes Veterinary Concierge was created to offer a calmer, more personal approach. Dr. Stokes provides veterinary care directly in your home, allowing pets to be examined in a familiar environment while giving owners more time for conversations about their pet's health.

A veterinarian who has been part of this community for years.

Dr. Danielle Stokes earned her veterinary degree from St. George's University and completed her clinical training at Virginia Tech. After four years of practice in upstate New York, she made her way to Lakewood Ranch — where she spent the next five years building relationships with pets and families right here in this community.

She stepped away from practice to raise her three boys. Now she's returning — not to a clinic, but to a model she believes in deeply. One that gives her the time to actually practice the kind of medicine that made her want to become a veterinarian in the first place.

When your pet needs something beyond the scope of in-home veterinary care, Dr. Stokes helps guide you through the next steps and coordinates with trusted local hospitals and specialists. That means you will get continuity, clarity, and support — especially when things feel stressful.

End-of-Life Care

Peaceful support when it is time to say goodbye.

Dr. Stokes offers compassionate in-home euthanasia and quality-of-life support for dogs and cats in Lakewood Ranch, Parrish, and Sarasota. This service is available to both members and nonmembers by appointment.

A calmer final visit at home

For many families, saying goodbye at home allows a pet to remain in a familiar, quiet place surrounded by the people who love them. Dr. Stokes will explain the process in advance and move at a pace that gives your family privacy and time.

Quality-of-life consultations for families who are unsure whether it is time.
In-home euthanasia visits for dogs and cats, when medically appropriate.
Aftercare and cremation coordination through a trusted local cremation partner.

End-of-life care is a separate service line and does not require an active Stokes Veterinary Concierge membership. Same-day availability may sometimes be possible, but it is not guaranteed.
